I absolutely loved my time at ELS Chicago! If I had more time, I would have definitely stayed longer. The courses are interactive and engaging, with plenty of in-class activities that allow you to practice speaking most of the time. It’s not like other courses where you just sit and listen – you actually get to practice speaking most of the time, which really helps with fluency.

The teachers and staff are incredibly kind and supportive. They genuinely care about the students and go out of their way to help. I remember once my friend and I loss water bottles during a baseball game, and the very next day, one of the staff members went out of her way to get us a replacement. That level of thoughtfulness really stood out to me.

The campus itself is beautiful, surrounded by trees, which makes it feel comfortable and welcoming. It’s the perfect environment for studying. I highly recommend ELS Chicago to anyone looking for an enriching and supportive learning experience!

I can't even put into words how many experiences I had and how much I learned. I am so grateful to my teachers. I know that they were helping us not only academically but also mentally and in life for some students. And of course we went there to learn English , otherwise more than that we learned about the culture and how to interact with native people.

We were with my husband and daughter studying English for 2 weeks at ELS, Chicago. It was a great experience for us as a family. All the people who work at ELS are very good, with excellent personal and professional qualities. Always ready to support us during the process.

Regarding the methodology of the classes, we think that it could be improved to make more use of time and thus guarantee greater learning. We consider that doing the exercises in the book in class is not the best methodology, that could be independent work and the class could be more experiential.

And the classes that have activities, being a large group, you can think of a methodology where the entire group is always participating.

The use of the MyELT platform was very interesting, it helps a lot to review what was learned in class. In the classrooms, technology can be greatly improved and teachers could also use it more for class.

We recommend ELS, and if we have the opportunity, we will do a course there again.

The school has a great learning atmosphere. I've been learning English here for a few months and I'm improving very quickly. The teachers are very patient, and they will organize activities according to different festivals. Some festival activities will be held according to students from different countries, which is very considerate.
