Encontré la escuela por una intensa búsqueda por Internet. La escogí por tener una trayectoria larga desde los años 80/90 y una buena ubicación ( cerca del downtown) ,muy bien comunicada y accesible. Hice un curso intensivo de 8 semanas y disfrute desde el momento uno. El ámbiente cálido, amigable (tanto de los compañeros como de los profesores) me han hecho sentir realmente bienvenida a Austin. Mi curso fue enfocado en Advanced business conversacional English y Advanced writing/reading English. Todos los profesionales son excelentes y hacen las clases muy entretenidas e interesantes. Nivs, Brian y Blair( que además es el director académico de HOFT) son unas piezas muy valiosas en la escuela. Quisiera agradecer nuevamente por el aprendizaje que me han brindado y buenos momentos que pase en la escuela. Si tuviera que volver a hacer un curso avanzado de inglés, sin duda alguna escogería nuevamente Hoft.

My experience at HOFT began as a volunteer and unexpectedly turned into a job, because of the positive, professional and also fun learning environment created by the wonderful staff here.

The best part of being here whether you are a staff member or student are the awesome activities that are planned out. Nowhere else can you become a fluent English speaker, experience and connect with rich cultures from across the globe, and also go on skydiving excursions.

HOFT is more than just a school. The people you meet here become family and the memories you make last a lifetime.

I highly recommend the English courses at HOFT Institute! The teaching staff is excellent, especially Brian, who is an outstanding teacher. His engaging lessons make learning English enjoyable and effective. Beyond the classroom, the school offers fantastic social activities that allow students to practice their English in real-life situations. These events are a great way to learn about different cultures and make new friends. The combination of high-quality teaching and a vibrant social experience makes this school the perfect place to learn English and connect with people from all over the world.

It has been a fantastic experience for me at HOFT! The school has such a comforting and peaceful environment, the design of the courses is well-considered for all levels of students, and, most importantly, the teachers and stuff truly care about the students.

I specifically enjoyed the courses conducted by Nick and Nelson. They not only made sure we made improvements in English, but also always created an exciting learning atmosphere.

I also wanted to shout out Blair the director. He always goes out of his way to deliver help and genuinely care about our experience at HOFT.

Overall, it's been a great journey at HOFT to me and I'm looking forward for the next semester!

I have been working at HOFT for a year now as a front desk coordinator, and it is with great pleasure to share that this school truly cares about its students and staff.

Since working here, I have gained confidence in ways that I have not found anywhere else. As a current undergraduate student at UT Austin, the interactions and experiences I have had at HOFT are the ones that stick with me most. From making pancakes for the students, to creating flyers of my favorite places to eat, and to being able to speak Spanish and share my culture with the students, working at HOFT has been one of the best decisions I’ve made for my personal and professional growth.

I have found myself constantly learning even as a staff member, and I recommend HOFT for its vibrant and knowledgeable teachers, ambience, and culture.

If you want to be challenged and included, HOFT is the place to be ! The students are exposed to so many cultural events, and I can proudly say that we are the best ESL school in Austin!

Attending Hoft English School has been an enriching experience. I have been studying there for a year, and I'm very happy with my progress. One pleasant surprise was discovering how fun writing essays can be. I had a great experience with Marta, the writing teacher, who has an incredible ability to unlock creativity in her students. Her feedback is always insightful, helping you grow as a writer with each assignment. The staff at the school are also incredibly helpful, always going above and beyond to ensure that students have everything they need to succeed. My experience at HOFT Institute is not just about how to learn English. I could improve my English and get to know a lot of people from different cultures, make friends and discover new places. They are always ready to help us and make us feel comfortable. The extra activities are important for the group of students to get to know each other and interact. Keep doing it! My Chinese name is Zilong, and at HOFT Institute people call me Dragon. This is my first time to come to the United States, and the first time to study in a language school. Before arriving at HOFT, there were all kinds of worries on my mind, but these worries disappeared after joining HOFT. To be honest, I like this big family very much. It is full of vitality and hope, and sometimes it can make you understand that maybe you are not just here to learn English, but also for your own life and future.

I'm grateful to all the teachers who taught me. Thank you, Mr. Nick. His grammar and writing lessons are always fruitful. He is a great teacher who is good at listening and being kind to others. He is also very handsome. Thank you, Ms. Marta. Her reading class can always make me remember words unconsciously. It is really amazing. Finally, i would like to thank Mr. Blair, who was the first teacher I met. He was very knowledgeable and his advice was always helpful. I really enjoy learning English here!
