Campus was very pretty but facilities were ageing and in need of updating. The main issue however were the staff, with the exception of one or two kind ladies in the cafeteria they were exceedingly unhelpful and disrespectful.

Whatever small issue was raised with them, they responded with an agressive attitude and would chastise you for raising an issue with them in the first place.

Financially I suppose it’s a decent option but besides that, I cannot come up with any other benefits of attending this school… respectfully. Staff is incredibly hard to get a hold of, they do not care if you’re struggling whether that be in class or mentally. They ignore your emails but when they need something from you, they all of a sudden know how to communicate. You have to make appointments for almost everything, which is understandable, but the appointment time is almost never honored. It seemed more about grades than actually making sure you understood the material.

The dorm is very old, and I can’t even open the door inside. They also don’t have key to open, and all of my stuff got stuck inside.

In a sea of mostly minority enrolled and faculty, you may give pause as to why. Just as in my experiences when the scale is tipped to far one way. You must ask yourself and observe as to why. You want to have quality for your child and if you do, this school is a pass. It’s no wonder they have issues with the NCLEX. A very ghetto, in my opinion, Professor of student services and to what I’ve seen of rye Professors they are most definitely 2nd rate educators ( not all) Mannerisms and to lazy to take their own attendance and with a Biology teacherTierra Guy is her name. Actually complained about being called in, stated WE needed a more than half an hour break, had a dog barking and refused to take him outside, stating he did not go outside. She then came up the very next class that instead of talking for three hours ( a lecture) , she could eliminate herself altogether and they needed her to have the class. That equals no dollars lost for the school . After she made her announcement she promptly left the class . Then wrote a letter saying she could not teach the class because she was so interrupted. Just a few comments before she left the Zoom( with no intentions of giving a lecture). Unfortunately there are a lot of ……k women with small a spans, per….. because there is no one going there but black females. Thru a scholarship it may have brought some und …bled… evening classes. Those who support such a lazy and unprofessional way of teaching snd she’s not the only one. You can only blame on the Dean of Professional Studies and the President of the School. Throw a video up and continue going about ur business and still get paid. Not even following a syllabus. We have to stop hiring these type of educators and let me introduce Ms Ghetto herself Dean Bowie. Rude and unprofessional. These Nuns that started this school would be horrified. Don’t send your young adult here.

I am a current student at Trinity Washington University and I definitely don’t feel the same way about this school, as i did a few months ago when I started. The school isn’t the worst but I would not say that you get the feeling of a good college experience. I am currently thinking about transferring to another school. So that I don’t create a long review for others to read I will give a bullet overview of what does on/why i want to leave:

- The administration as a whole are not very cooperative, nor do they know how to really help you. Advisors just repeat the same information that you could have found in the Trinity website.
- The food is NOT good. I have seen dining hall workers take food from the dining hall and take it over to the deli which is one building away and charge more for it. They give you a better sandwich if your using flex dollars, but they give a basic sandwich if your using your meal plan.
- Security is not consistent, they pretty much let anyone on campus and don’t ask the necessary questions before having a car proceed to drop off/pick up or parking.
- There are no water fountains in the freshman dorm, which i feel is a health hazard. I feel, if they can get a dollar out of me then they will. It’s either $1.25 - 1.75 for a bottle of water in the freshman building, and Laundry is $1.50 to dry and another $1.50 to dry.

My first semester of freshman year it was clear that the dean didn’t like my professor so she would try and get us to say things negating about her, she would observe her teaching more than i’ve ever seen, and before the second semester was to start she quit.

Trinity is nice in the brochures, and online, but if you come here you will soon realize unfortunately everything is not as it seems.

I've always struggled with academics, but my experience at Trinity was exceptional. The class sizes were much smaller than colleges I attended in the past. The environment was collaborative and engaging. I felt the teachers as well as the students wanted everyone to succeed. I am in the process of applying for my masters degree and didn't consider any other university. I'll continue my education at Trinity and would encourage my friends and colleagues to do the same.
